Hi! I’m Sam.

I’m the VP of Brand & Growth Marketing at Asset Based Lending, a national private capital provider for real estate investors. I own the full marketing function there: the brand, the demand engine, and the team and systems that connect the two to our Sales pipeline.

I grew up in Lancaster, PA, and earned my B.S. in Creative Advertising & Marketing Communications at the Fashion Institute of Technology. I started my career at Liberty Fashion & Lifestyle Fairs, where I grew our community of retail buyers by over 20% and led a global sustainability campaign across our brand portfolio.

From there I spent three progressive roles at UMortgage, ending as Marketing Team Leader. I led a team of coordinators, copywriters, producers, and designers, and launched programs and events, like Agent Connect and Winners Win, that put Marketing in the room with Sales.

At ABL I led a 15-year brand relaunch and built the engine behind it. When the tools my team needed didn’t exist, I built them with Claude Code. That work earned recognition as a 2026 HousingWire Marketing Leader and a 2025 Progress in Lending Trailblazer.

Today I’m based in Philadelphia. Next, I want to be the first marketing leader at an early-stage proptech, fintech, or D2C company, building the brand, the team, and the growth engine from the ground up.
